Throughout 2022, we are teaming up with Jessica Spring from Springtide Press

to present all-ages, family-friendly printing and book arts opportunities

at our shop, Line Break Press.

Our first event is May 1st! No need to sign up, just come by the shop!

GatherINK: May Day

Celebrate workers rights and collective bargaining power! 

Honor Flora, the Roman goddess of Spring with flowers! 

Gather ‘round our May Pole for festivities at Write253’s Line Break Press. 

We will have several hands-on letterpress printing projects for participants to create. Activities are a great introduction to the tools and history of printing, and an opportunity to see prints created by Write253 youth.

GatherINK is an ongoing series of community book arts and printing projects intended for family participation. We support a wide definition of family, but ask that participants under 12 are accompanied by an adult. All participants will be required to sign waivers.
