Independent poet registration is for individual middle and high school students in Tacoma/Pierce County who are not participating as part of a team.*

Please note, all poets must between the ages of 13-19. 

Registering is easy!

First, fill out the registration form below.

After that, fill out our photo/video release (see link to the left) and bring it on March 18 or email it to Asha Berkes at asha@write253.com. If you do not have access to a printer, you can fill it out at the event.**

*If your school has a team, you must sign up as part of that team. Contact us if you are unsure about your school's status.

**If you are under 18, you will need a parent or guardian to sign your media waiver.
